Getting around
The top of every page has a navigation menu:
  • Home - returns you to this page.
  • Current Courses - takes you to a syllabus for courses I am teaching in 2020-21. On the syllabus, you will find a list of topics covered. For each topic, students will find links to materials directly related to class work, including presentations, vocabulary, maps, and interactive games. This material will help students master the material and prepare for projects and assessments.
  • Resources - takes you to Web resources on study skills, geography, history, and current events. These resources are meant to help students develop their skills and background knowledge.
Welcome! This site was created for my high-school history students at the Katherine Thomas School (KTS). This site is neither an official  site nor is it endorsed by the school. Thanks for visiting, and please send suggestions for improvements and links to new resources. dp
Other online resources in this course
  1. Many assignments can be completed and turned in directly online using Google Classroom. Work completed on Google Classroom is always available for later review. Students will also find useful class resources on Google Classroom, including links to this site and subscription services provided by the school, such as BrainPop and the Encyclopedia Britannica.
  2. Grades and assignments details can be found at the school's system of record, Blackbaud. Homework cannot be directly completed on Blackbaud.
